Panama with medals in archery in Argentina

Panama added half a dozen medals to the First Pan American Indoor Archery Championship at Tecnópolis Microstadium in Argentina.

The national team managed to add 2 silvers and 4 bronzes, a total of 6 metals

The tournament brought together more than 300 archers from 14 American countries, 13 of them from Panama, they competed in categories Barebow, Compound and Curve, for men and women in the categories up to 18, 21, above and above 50 years.

They won medals Adriannis Caballero, who won the silver medal in the compound bow for children under 21, after falling in the fight for the gold, against Argentina’s Guillermina González.

In addition, in the composite team competition, the Panamanian trio composed of Edgar Barsallo, Bladimir Berdiales and Willie ChinThey brought money.

Barsallo also won a bronze medal in compound bow; while Lineth Lou added another bronze, defeating Chile’s Maria Vinench, in the women’s competition.

In this category, but in Sub-21, Paola Coronas won bronze.

Also, in the women’s team recurve discipline, Emma Durán, Ana Pinzón and Miriam González from Chiriqui won bronze.

It should be noted that Durán received 534 points in the women’s curve, which is the highest score in the women’s classification; while Barsallo with 578 was third in the qualifications.
