It is the latest incident of the social network since it was bought by the owner of Tesla

Twitter owner Elon Musk announced a tweet viewing limit 6000 messages per day for verified social media accounts and 600 for unverifiedall in an effort to avoid “extreme levels of data mining and system manipulation”.

This was made known by the CEO of Tesla in a post on Twitter, where he explained that new unverified users will be able to view a maximum of 300 messages per day.

According to Musk, these viewing limits are temporary and will soon increase to 8,000 for verified users, 800 for unverified users, and 400 for new unverified users.

This is the latest in a series of incidents that have hit Musk’s social network since the mogul, who owns Tesla and SpaceX, bought it a year ago.

Users were able to access the Twitter interface this Saturday, but the message bar did not appear on the web or in the app, instead showing an error message: “Limited Rate Exceeded” or “Something went wrong. Please try reloading. ” When asked for comment on what’s going on, the company responded as usual with a curt “pooping” emoticon.

In February, it was not possible to publish messages after an error due to exceeding the “daily limit”, and in March, the incident occurred because users could not click on links or view photos. Other problems appeared after the announcement of layoffs in the company or after the closure of the data center.
