Workers demonstrate from Plaza de América to the Xunta building and City Hall
The fourth day of protest by the metalworkers of the province of Pontevedra. On this occasion, the route passes through the center of Vigo, starting from Plaza América, Avenida de Beiramar to the Xunta building and then Urzaiz, Venezuela and Vigo City Hall. It is expected to end around 11:00 am.
The mobilization has the support of CC.OO., UGT and CIG, which for now reject the proposal to withdraw the call and hold a strike organized in different parts of the province for a “dignified” agreement.
The metal employers in the province of Pontevedra, Asime, Atra and InstalectraIn recent days, they have called on the unions to call off the strike to “restore normality” at meetings where the terms of the new sector agreement were agreed.
