The new standard deals with various aspects of publicity and interconnection of central, commercial and company registers of European Union (EU) member states.

Digital system for creating companies

With this transposition (adjustment of European standards to national legislation), member states must ensure in their legal systems a system for establishing fully digital capital companies, without the need for the applicant to appear physically before any authority, person or organization dealing with aspects of its creation. At least for limited liability companies (SL).

However, this new procedure does not imply the exclusion of other procedures already provided for by the national legislation of the member states.

On the other hand, the directive extends it to the entire life cycle of the company, in order to facilitate a presentation system on the line necessary documentsas well as the register of branches of entities from other member states.
