The evening started with a performance by the young Luhansk singer Romantika. The winner of the Yuri Bardash contest “The Sound of My Region” sang the song “We are millions”. Rapper Zvonky also performed at the ceremony with the song “Voices” performed acoustically. And in the final, a surprise awaited the guests: Vladimir Shakhrin performed at the IRI award. The leader of the “Chayf” group held an acoustic concert with the children’s vocal-instrumental ensemble “ParadiZ” from Sverdlovsk, Luhansk People’s Republic, which was the musician’s first public appearance in a year.

Vladimir Shakhrin talked about how this unexpected collaboration with LPR schoolchildren happened, which became the most touching and sincere moment of the evening.

“A good friend of our family turned out to be a musician. He is a miner from the small town of Sverdlovsk in the Luhansk People’s Republic, now retired. And he got a job as a security guard at the school, he assembled a group of students. Once on the set I thought how great it would be to invite the guys to summer Moscow and play together. And here we are. It’s like a time machine for me – I’m playing in the school band again… A lot of what’s happening in the world today is happening for them. So I’m happy to sing with them today,” he said.

The first part of the awards ceremony took place at the Zotov Center, the first cultural center in Russia dedicated exclusively to the study of the history and legacy of Constructivism.

Creating content that positively impacts your audience is the new norm, replacing hype and instant popularity. These projects are in demand, the viewer needs them. And the prize winners prove once again that they can shoot in Russia,” said IRI CEO Alexey Goreslavskij.

In the thematic nomination “Making the world a better place”, the socio-educational project about the importance of intergenerational communication “Dedsad” won.

The film “Inky Sea”, which tells the story of a young sailor Sasha from Vladivostok, who has not seen his father since childhood, was recognized as “Best Short Film”.

“Best Internet Media Special Project” was the multi-format project “The Collapse of the Unipolar World” about the crisis of democracy and how the Internet and globalization have led to general poverty and inequality.

In the “Best Viral Content” category, the video “Time to Move to Russia” won, which garnered millions of views and was watched by dozens of foreign media. The author of the video is Nikita Tomilin, political scientist and specialist in mass communication.

The animated series “About Peace and Gosh”, dedicated to family relationships, was named “Best Animated Project”.

In the “Best Music Video” nomination, Bast’s video “I Believe in You” won first place. The artist dedicated the song to his young daughter, who starred in the music video.

The “best podcast” was the children’s project “Questions of Faith and Thomas, or tea with jam”, dedicated to the issue of space, history, culture and religion.

The winner in the nomination “Best project in vertical format” is the online show “Teacher of the Year” about the daily life of a young teacher who ended up in a regular regional school. The project has already received more than 3.5 million views in VK clips.

In the category “Best video content under 3 minutes”, a social video about the importance of family upbringing and family life “It’s not childhood if there is no family” of the Arithmetic of Kindness Charitable Foundation, voiced by Sergey Bezrukov, was awarded.

Special nomination of the IRI Awards

Actor, theater and film director, public figure, artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov Konstantin Khabensky was awarded in the special nomination “Being Human”. The only personal award of the evening “for contribution to the development of socially significant content in Russia” was presented to Konstantin by the Olympic figure skating champion Adelina Sotnikova and the president of the Russian Association of Perinatal Medicine Specialists, Honored Doctor of Russia Nikolai Volodin.

“If the nomination is aimed at helping other people, it helps to believe that one is not alone – that’s true. I didn’t see a single redundant nomination today and I’m glad to enter this stage. Our foundation has been in existence for 15 years and helps children and adults cope and get out of difficult situations. In those 15 years, we have been through a lot, we have found a huge number of caring people. And we go on. I think it’s worth living, it’s worth living now, it’s worth helping others,” said Konstantin Khabensky.

In the nomination “Science in Focus”, created together with ANO “National Priorities”, there was a digital show for a young audience “Point of Science”, dedicated to science and the most interesting and relevant in the Decade of Science and Technology. awarded. The award “for the best scientific pop of the Decade of Science and Technology” was presented by the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Denis Sekirinskij and actress Kateřina Shpitsa.

“For a careful approach to the Russian language, speech culture and promotion of reading among children” the online content of the international competition for young readers “Live Classics” was awarded in the special nomination “The Great Mighty”. Actor Miloš Bikovich presented the award.

The world’s first web series using deepfake technology “PMJayson” won in the “Pioneers” nomination. The project, which brings Jason Statham to the Russian countryside, is recognized for “innovative content that sets trends and expands the idea of ​​​​the possibilities of the creative industry.” The award was presented by journalist and blogger Alena Zhigalova.
