“It’s scary to write goodbye letters to children”: Yulia Peresild with her daughters and boyfriend appeared at the premiere of the film “Challenge” 13/04/2023, 08:25

The star-studded premiere of the drama The Challenge, which became the world’s first feature film shot aboard the International Space Station, took place at the Oktyabr cinema center in the capital. It set a record – three thousand spectators gathered in its cinema halls. The largest cinema in Moscow was transformed into a model of the ISS that evening: its walls were replaced by a holographic shell of the station with peepholes, and at the entrance was placed the descent vehicle of the transport manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-18, whose film crew consisted of actress Yulia Peresild, director Klim Shipenko and cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky returned to Earth in the fall of 2021.

Julia Peresild became the main star of the event. The 38-year-old actress stepped out in a chic sky blue outfit, which consisted of briefs and a sheer dress. The stylist of the Honored Artist of Russia explained that designer Dmitry Loginov created this outfit especially for her. This outfit was completed with sparkly stiletto sandals by Stuart Weitzman. The former lover of director Alexei Uchitel preferred Pomellato earrings.

Julia entered the blue carpet with her daughters – 13-year-old Anna and 9-year-old Maria. Both girls are already acting in films: the eldest has acted in films “Tiber”, “First Snow” and others and the youngest – in the movie “Tsoi”.

Peresild left the children for a short time to give interviews on television, and she herself kept company with her beloved man, 35-year-old Mikhail Troinik. He was Julia’s partner in the film “Call” – played her husband who died in a car accident. On the red carpet, the actor tenderly held his beloved by the waist, and the heroine of the evening caressed him.

The artist shared her emotions from the space flight. “That’s my biggest fear” said Peresild. “It’s not as scary sitting in a racket as writing goodbye letters to your children and signing a will with your own hand at a notary… My children have come through this story very beautifully, as have my parents… Both mom and dad and my two daughters – people, who walked this way. When I was in the rocket with Klim, I saw his wife, mother and children. I think it was a lot harder for them than it was for us in the racket.’

After the screening of the film, Yulia performed a fragment of the legendary song “Echo of Love” on stage. “It happened historically that Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin was the first” the actress recalled. – Our filmmakers could not miss this chance – to be the first in it. Let’s get on with it. You must be pioneers. There is no other way.”

The star of many dramas assured that they will not be in her film life for the next four years “no tanks, helicopters, planes”. Peresild wants to act only in children’s films and films about love and positivity.

That evening, the disgraced Ivan Urgant made a rare appearance. The showman said he would return to the Channel One broadcast. The film Challenge will be released in wide release on April 20.
