
The famous theater and film actor Vladimir Levashev died in Moscow. This was reported in the “Modern” theater. “Vladimir Sergeevich served in Modern for more than 20 years, embodied a huge number of images on the theater stage, was a true professional in his field, a friend and mentor of theater actors of different generations,” noted the actor’s colleagues.
The artistic director of the Modern Theater, Yuri Grymov, called Levašov a great actor and a bright person. “In memory of the artist, the First Hall of the theater will be named the Vladimir Levashev Hall,” promised the artistic director.

Vladimir Levashev was born on June 18, 1950. After finishing school, he entered the school studio of the Chekhov Moscow Art Academic Theater. Later, the actor got a job at the Modern Theater. Levashev took part in many performances, including “Uncle’s Dream”, “The Journey of the Little Prince”, “The Old House”, “Loop” and others.

Vladimir Sergeyevich is also known as an announcer and dubbing actor. The artist adapted more than 100 foreign films, cartoons and TV series for the Russian audience. He voiced Saruman in The Hobbit and all of Stan Lee’s cameos in Marvel movies, voiced Michael Ehrmantraut (Breaking Bad), James Gordon (Justice League), Norman Osborn (The Amazing Spider-Man: High Voltage), etc.
Levashev starred in the TV series Sklifosovsky, Our Neighbors-2, the films The Extraordinary Journey of Seraphim, At the End of Summer, Forces of Interaction and others.
