Fit for a boy band: what The Last of Us series star Pedro Pascal looked like in his youth

Pedro Pascal was born in Chile in 1975. But soon after his birth, the family first fled to Denmark, where they hid from the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet, and then settled in the United States, where Pedro grew up.

Pedro started acting in the late 90s, but for a long time he got by with small roles. It seemed that an evil stone was hanging over the actor and some projects failed. In 2011, he was cast in a TV series adaptation of Wonder Woman, which never aired, and the thriller The Changers of Reality, starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, failed at the box office.

The turning point for the actor was the invitation to the role of Oberyn Martell in the TV series Game of Thrones. Although his hero appeared in only seven episodes of the fourth season, this time the charismatic actor was remembered and loved by the public. Maybe the change of image helped – Pascal now looked brave. Agreed, nothing to do with what he was before. The mustache and slight unshaven added to his charm. In his youth, Pedro would rather be cast in a boy band than get one of the roles that would eventually bring him fame.

Now Pedro shines as Joel Miller in the television adaptation of the post-apocalyptic video game The Last of Us, where he also embodies a very brutal image.

So the main thing is not to despair and go after your goal – and your hour will surely come. The example of Pedro Pascal confirms this!
