“Britney Spears is a White House agent”: the most ridiculous and shocking conspiracy theories about stars

The truth is somewhere near…

Katy Perry is a grown-up JonBenet Ramsey

The murder of six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey, the winner of a children’s beauty pageant, in 1996 shook the whole world. However, supporters of conspiracy theories claim that in fact the child was kidnapped, the parents allegedly hid this fact, and the girl grew up to become a pop star – Katy Perry.

Although Katie and JonBenet have similarities and even their parents are somewhat alike, there are some serious contradictions in this theory. Firstly, JonBenet was four years younger than Katie, and secondly, her body was unfortunately found in 1996.

Britney Spears worked for the US government

In the mid-2000s, rumors surfaced that the pop star was an operative for the US government. Some strange coincidences made the public think about it. In 2007, the Britney-related scandals coincided with some major events in the administration of George W. Bush, who was then president. Many believe she was paid by his administration to distract the media from his mistakes. Britney, for example, announced her divorce from Kevin Federline the day before the midterm elections, which could turn into a crisis for Bush and the Republican Party as a whole.

Solange Knowles is Beyoncé’s daughter, not her sister

Sometime in 2013, rumors spread that Beyoncé had been lying about her age for years and that her younger sister Solange was actually her daughter. According to official records, Beyoncé was born in 1981 and Solange in 1986. But in 2008, Gabrielle Union, who was born in 1972, said that she and Beyoncé were friends “in their teenage years.” But if Beyoncé is actually almost 10 years younger than Union, then there’s no way they could be teenagers at the same time.

A witness from the Texas Department of Health immediately came forward to say that Beyoncé’s actual birth certificate shows she was born in 1974 — just two years after Gabrielle. She then allegedly became pregnant when she was just 13 years old. According to a fan theory, Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles raised Solange as her own daughter so that Beyoncé could focus on her career.

Prince Harry is the son of Officer James Hewitt

According to one of the most popular rumors about the royal family, Prince Harry is not the son of Prince Charles (now King Charles III) at all. The real father is officer James Hewitt, with whom Princess Diana actually had an affair. The public considers the red hair of both men as the main “evidence”, but this is still not proof of kinship, because Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, also has red hair. Most importantly, Hewitt didn’t meet Diana until 1986, while Harry was born in 1984.

Walt Disney Was Cryogenically Freezed and Will Be ‘Resurrected’ Soon

The legendary cartoonist and founder of the film studio died in 1966 of lung cancer. So says the official version. Conspiracy theorists, however, reject it outright. Disney was very secretive and little is known about his funeral, leading the public to speculate that in fact Disney requested a freeze to await a time when his illness could be cured. And his body is said to still be kept in an ice chamber somewhere under Disneyland!

There is little evidence for this theory, but the main counterargument is that the first time a person was subjected to cryogenic freezing was only a year after Disney’s death in 1967.

Keanu Reeves lives forever

And it’s not just that the actor looks younger than his age. Fans have long noted Keanu’s striking resemblance to several historical figures, including French actor Paul Moonet, who lived in the early 20th century, and Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne. Fans are sure that Reeves is just a vampire or some other undead who is reborn again and again.

Avril Lavigne has died

The singer’s debut album “Let Go” was released on June 4, 2002, but her stay at the top of the charts was short-lived. According to a popular conspiracy theory, Avril died back in 2003 and was replaced by stuntwoman Melissa Vandella, who released the album Under My Skin in 2004. As proof of their innocence, fans cite changes in Avril’s appearance, creative style and sense of style. The singer herself only laughed at these speculations and called them nonsense.

Tom Cruise is not Suri Cruise’s father

The most attentive fans noticed that the size of Katie Holmes’ belly did not change quite naturally during pregnancy. Some have speculated that Suri’s biological father is actually Katy’s ex-fiancé, actor Chris Klein, and that Katy was using a fake belly to cover up the fact that Suri was actually born much earlier and therefore could not be Tom’s biological daughter. However, now that Suri is an adult, this theory can be considered untenable – the girl clearly looks like Cruise.

Stanley Kubrick staged the moon landing

According to popular myth, the US government hired Oscar-winning director Stanley Kubrick to stage the moon landing in 1969, a year after his biggest film, 2001: A Space Odyssey, opened in theaters. It is said that he even confessed to this before his death in 1999. By the way, there are stars among the supporters of the theory. So Whoopi Goldberg is among those who question the authenticity of the American moon landing.
