“She survived! It is a miracle! ”: Kate Middleton secretly met the mother of a premature baby

27-year-old British Misha Hand spoke about an emotional acquaintance with a representative of the royal family. The girl was in a medical facility after her daughter Amaya-Rey was born at just 23 weeks. According to her, the young mother was told eight times that the girl would not survive, but she did not even accept the thought that she would lose the baby.

The case of the patient from Crawley West Sussex was classed as a late miscarriage. Misha and her husband Jamie did everything they could to survive the traumatic birth. A few days later, the doctors announced that they would have to say goodbye to the girl.

However, Amaya-Rey displayed a true fighting spirit that surprised even the most experienced doctors. The child managed to survive and went home with his parents after 360 days in the hospital. Kate Middleton learned about the amazing case, she wanted to talk to the young mother and her daughter. Kate secretly visited Hand in the hospital in a bright red midi dress.

“When we were at Evelyn Children’s Hospital we were completely overwhelmed by the unexpected visit of the Princess of Wales. Kate was so sweet to listen intently to Amaya’s story. She seemed really into her and asked so many questions. She seemed completely mesmerized by my daughter, praising her smiles and clothes,” said Misha.

According to the English, even the girl, despite her age, was interested in the guest’s visit. “Amaya couldn’t take her eyes off her, she was in shock. “Someone suggested we take our daughter to a Disney princess show at Christmas, but we joked that she only deals with actual royals now,” Handa was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

The British woman still cannot believe that her child was able to overcome all the obstacles. There are still health problems, but they can be solved – the child is not life-threatening today.

“It is nothing short of a miracle. I’m not religious, but I believe someone was watching over her, told her it wasn’t time to leave, and sent her back. At first, every time we were told to say goodbye to her, our world just came crashing down. But after the fifth or sixth time, I believed Amaya – I knew my girl was going nowhere. She survived, born at 23 weeks. We always say that she is not here to be ordinary,” Míša added.
