Anna and Boris met in Turkey in 2011: she was crying on the seashore because she lost her favorite glasses, and he noticed her while riding a boat. After learning about the grief of the 19-year-old foreigner, the politician tried to help in the search. Accessory not found but communication started.

The relationship turned out to be strong and long-lasting, despite the difference in age – Nemtsov was 32 years older than Duritskaya (when they met, he was already more than 50).
Boris called his beloved Bounty a chocolate bar. He introduced her to influential people, taught her many things, opened many doors and even taught her how to make money. According to Duritska, the four elite apartments in the center of Kyiv that he owns were once bought by Němcov during the construction phase, and after his death, Anna became their owner.
The girl did not appear at Boris’s funeral: after the death, the politician provided all the necessary evidence as the main witness and hurried back to her native Ukraine, fearing for her life.
