Great personalities are always legendary. And scarecrows. So they said about Joseph Stalin: he ate children. No matter what anyone says, but many believe in this bike and we decided to check if it is true.
The first version, which seems to us the most plausible, says: Stalin ate children – figuratively speaking. This phrase means that Iosif Vissarionovich did not pay attention to the fact that there were minors before him – children, like adults, were criminally liable, subjected to repression and exile. Adolescence is a time of rebellion, and schoolchildren between the ages of 14 and 17 often protested against the totalitarian regime of the association in opposition communities. For which they were punished to the highest degree.
The second version is simple and categorical: Stalin did not eat children. That’s a metaphor that bitingly describes the commander in chief. After all, everyone knows what the expression “thief in law” means – it means that the criminal is feared and perhaps even hated, but they recognize his authority. After the death of Joseph Vissarionovich, the cult of Stalin fell by itself, and no one was afraid to say how evil he was. Therefore, such a biting metaphor, clearly expressing the attitude towards him.
The third version is also interesting. But rather, he does not answer the question of whether this is truth or fiction, but tells how and why the expression “Stalin ate children” appeared. It is believed that this was a kind of defense method of the Stalinists. Unable to withstand the opposition, the defenders invented such a fable that did not require refutation. And since this – in our case, the claim that Stalin ate children – was not true, the rest is also a lie and a provocation.
