A biographical film about the life of Maria Callas decided to be directed by Pablo Larrain, who became famous for working on such projects. He directed a film about Jackie Kennedy with Natalie Portman, as well as a drama about Princess Diana with Kristen Stewart in the lead role. The director’s new film was given the laconic title “Maria”.
Pablo set out to show the beautiful, stormy and tragic story of the opera diva. The recording will speak in the first person: Maria seems to be talking about her life herself.

Maria Callas was born in New York but learned to sing in Greece. She lived and performed in Italy for a long time. The opera diva had a lively affair with Aristotle Onassis. After divorcing her, he married Jacqueline Kennedy.
