The public first became aware of their relationship on April 29, 2005, when Zellweger appeared at a Chesney concert in Jacksonville and kissed him on stage.

Three months after they met, on May 9, 2005, the couple married in a small ceremony on the island of St. John’s Island.

However, the marriage lasted only four months – in September 2005, Zellweger filed for annulment, citing “fraud” as the reason for the separation. Both stars have asked for confidentiality and have never spoken publicly about the marriage or separation. Exactly what this scam was about remained a mystery, although various rumors circulated. An official statement from the couple’s representatives said: “The sole reason for the annulment is a misunderstanding of the purpose of their marriage to begin with.”

The romance of the actor began after meeting on the set of the movie “Case 39″ in 2009. According to journalists, the relationship that followed was quite serious: the actress went shopping with Bradley’s mom and spent holidays with the actor’s family. There were even rumors of an engagement, with the stars themselves never officially announcing that they were together. Although Cooper openly admired his partner: “I just love her. I liked going to work. I like to play with her. I can learn a lot from her.”

In the fall of 2010, the actors started living together, but already in March 2011 they broke up.

Get acquainted, in case you already forgot – Rene had the longest relationship with this man. She dated musician Doyle Bramhall from 2012 to 2019. At the same time, they met for the first time at the University of Texas already in the early 1990s.

“Isn’t he cute? He is a very nice person. I’m very, very happy now,” the actress told People magazine in a 2015 interview.

Unfortunately, that luck ended in 2019.

Rene’s affair with Anstead became known in 2021 – at that time the man had just divorced his wife Christina Hall. The actress and TV presenter met on the set of his project. At first they kept their relationship under wraps, but in August 2021 they made their first public appearance together. In January 2022, Zellweger met Anstead’s three children — and the meeting went well, according to Anto himself, because “Rene is so good with people.”

In July 2023, it was announced that René and Ant were already engaged and planning to marry. The actress wants to organize a small celebration for the closest circle.

“Her relationship with Ant is very strong, they are madly in love and can’t wait to get married,” a source close to the actress told The Sun.
