The figure skater’s chosen one appeared in a black insulated jacket. Irina gently pressed herself to Alexei and kissed him on the cheek. “My husband and I came to St. Petersburg,” said the athlete.
Irina has been happily married to a businessman since 2018. The lovers arranged a secret wedding in the circle of their closest friends. The figure skating star ditched traditional wedding attire in favor of a voluminous floral print dress.

Irina and Alexey are raising a common daughter, 3-year-old Kira. Govyrin adopted athletes from her first husband, boxer Sergey Mikheev – 14-year-old Artem and 11-year-old Varvara as her own children. The 40-year-old businessman also has a son and a daughter from a previous relationship.
