A roaring V8, yet electric, that’s the Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT

If you follow Autovisie, you’ve undoubtedly heard of the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Now there is a special version of the electric vehicle with a roaring V8! Say hello to the Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT.

It’s not like Shelby is sticking a V8 up the nose of the electric car. The Mach-E has speakers that mimic the V8 sound, just like Abarth does on the 500E.

A roaring V8, but no more horsepower

Although this Shelby version of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT may sound tougher, the powertrain delivers just as much horsepower as the regular GT. The GT is not lacking in power with 487 hp, but it is noticeable that you don’t even get one more hp for 24,900 euros (only for the Shelby kit).

But why should you choose this particular Mustang Mach-E GT? Just stand out and have a unique car. While the lighter wheels, improved aerodynamics and weight savings undoubtedly make for slightly better performance, the carbon fiber hood and Shelby stripes really stand out.

Although Shelby is a real American company, the kit can only be ordered in Europe for the time being. Only 100 upgrade packs with V8 sound are sold in our continent.
