Mud wrestling with a supercar? It’s possible in the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato

The SUV trend is also finding its way into the world of sports cars. Porsche this week introduces the 911 Dakar, a high-riding 911 with all-terrain tires and all-wheel drive. Immediately afterwards he has competition from Italy in the form of this Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato.

Lamborghini says goodbye to the Huracán with the Sterrato. Like the new Aventador, its successor will be equipped with hybrid technology. The Sterrato is thus the very last Lamborghini without electrical support.

Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato as study model

It’s been three years since Lamborghini presented the Huracán Sterrato as a study model. “Sterrato” means “unpaved” in Italian.

Significantly larger track width and ground clearance

The robust off-road version of the Huracán stands 47 millimeters higher on the wheels, has grooved all-terrain tires with higher sidewalls and all-wheel drive. Rear wheel steering is standard.

As usual, behind the seats is an atmospheric V10. In the Sterrato, the block delivers 640 hp, just like in the Huracán Evo. Like the concept car, the production version has a track that is 3 centimeters wider.
