The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio are seven and six years old respectively and need some adjustments to keep up with the times. Alfa did their best. Both cars have new headlights with adaptive matrix LED technology and a set of dynamic turn signals. The shape of the daytime running lights has been adjusted so that the “face” of Giulia and Stelvio is more in line with that of the new Tonale.

Has the Alfa Romeo grille been changed too?

According to Alfa Romeo, something has also changed on the radiator grille scudetto, but we don’t see the differences, to be honest. At the rear, the changes immediately catch the eye. The Alfa Romeo Giulia has rear lights with dark smoked glass in the front. On the Stelvio, the clear plastic is clear.

More digital interior for Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio

The interior of both Alfas has become more digital. As a driver, you are finally looking at a digital cockpit and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen is available to you on the right. That the maintenance history of the Giulia and Stelvio is now kept as an NFT on the blockchain (just like the Tonale) feels a bit gimmicky.

Simpler delivery program with two versions

In order to better adapt the delivery program to that of the Tonale, Alfa Romeo ticked it off. There are now two versions of the Giulia and Stelvio: the Super and the Ti, but you can expand them with optional packages. The Sprint package is available for the Super. You can make the Ti look even sportier by checking out the Veloce package.

When it comes to motorcycles, there is absolutely no choice anymore

There is no more choice for the engines. It’s a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 280 hp or nothing. And that means the 200hp version has been killed. There is also no trace of hybrid technology on the field or on the road, as with the Alfa Romeo Tonale. Understandably, the investment will be too high for the manufacturer. But it also reduces the already low chances of success for Giulia and Stelvio in the Netherlands.
