You will never guess how much BPM you pay for the Ford Bronco!

“The iconic Ford Bronco can now be ordered in the Netherlands,” writes Ford optimistically. However, there is one big problem: the BPM amount that buyers have to pay here.

So it’s surprising that Ford even bothered to bring the model to the Netherlands. Because who pays such a high price for an American 4×4?

To get straight to the point with the price: The Ford Bronco is available from 153,100 euros, of which – don’t worry – 75,143 euros are BPM and 13,217 are VAT. The culprit is the Bronco’s engine.

Twin-turbo V6

In the entry-level Outer Banks model it is 273 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Logical, because the Ford has a 2.7-liter biturbo V6 with 335 hp and 563 Nm. Shifting is via a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Badlands even more expensive

The Badlands version, which is more geared towards off-road use, is eight grand more expensive. The starting price of 161,100 euros includes 78,896 euros BPM and 13,939 euros VAT. Oof! That hurts.

Fuel consumption

Also the fuel consumption, because it’s not cheap on paper: around 1 in 9. The Bronco is definitely pretty fast, the Outer Banks reaches 100 km/h after 6.7 seconds.

More off-road vehicle than SUV

Ford has made the Bronco more of an off-road vehicle than an SUV, with all sorts of electronic assistants for the wilderness, low range, removable doors, a removable hardtop and attachment points for accessories.

Washable inside

The interior of the Ford Bronco is easy to clean and can even be washed with water. Still, it has an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch touchscreen on the center console.

US prices

Finally, consider American prices for comparison. The Bronco is for sale in the USA from 39,130 ​​dollars, which is more than 36,000 euros. And that’s quite a difference at one and a half tons here.
