Security experts hope that the Tesla Cybertruck never comes to Europe

The delivery of the Tesla Cybertruck to real customers (not just Tesla employees) now seems to be well underway. And that worries security experts.
We don’t need to talk about the Cybertruck’s appearance anymore. This looks like it came straight from an early 3D game where the computer graphics were all polygons.
Safety in the Tesla Cybertruck
Tesla has already admitted that it will be almost impossible for the Cybertruck to meet Chinese and European safety requirements. Since the body of the pickup is made of stainless steel, it is too stiff.
“We hope that Tesla does not bring this vehicle to Europe,” the European Road Safety Council said. “It is so big, so strong and weighs so much that a collision with a pedestrian/cyclist would be fatal.”
Pickup versus crumple zone
One of the Cybertruck’s biggest problems is its stainless steel body. This does not give way and can therefore cause great damage if a person hits it.

The Cybertruck can also be dangerous for other drivers. Because the electric pickup is so stiff and heavy, it crushes the crumple zone of a regular car.
Mass production will be difficult
Elon Musk wrote on Twitter this week that it would be “very difficult” to legalize the Cybertruck for the streets in China. It looks like Tesla won’t be able to sell its truck outside the US for now.
Perhaps this doesn’t bother Tesla at all, as the company already knew that mass production of the Cybertruck would not be easy, due in part to the materials chosen.
