In a video, former Russian intelligence officer Igor Girkin (52) talks about the current situation. In it, he openly accused Prigozhin of planning a coup. He also discredits the Russian army and military leadership. “This is unacceptable and the behavior of a man with limited social skills,” Girkin shoots at the Wagner boss.
Military leadership is also criticized
The former Kremlin officer also warned of “mutiny” if Prigozhin was allowed to continue leading the Wagner group. Among other things, Girkin claimed that the Wagner mercenaries had not taken an oath not to fight against Russia or the Russian army. Girkin also criticized the Russian military leadership for their treatment of Prigozhin. It is “incomprehensible why the Ministry of Defense does not put Prigozhin in his place,” said the ex-officer.
