The Wild West still exists: cowboy action in the middle of the highway Climate protection law explained in short

In Oakland County, Michigan, cinematic scenes took place on May 21 – more specifically, scenes from a Western. A group of cowboys wanted to catch an escaped cow – right in the middle of Interstate 75, a three-lane highway. A police car dashcam captured the whole spectacle:

The cowboys, chasing the cow on horseback and ATVs, alerted Michigan State Police so they could direct traffic if the cow moved onto the highway, which it did. The road was temporarily closed in both directions.

After many “deception maneuvers,” the animal was finally caught and removed from the highway, the troopers wrote on Twitter. Once the highway reopened, traffic quickly resumed. The cow was not charged and was back in the pasture with a story to tell all the other animals. (lzo)
