This is the new tactic of the “Last Generation”

On Monday morning, the “last generation” of climate stickers struck with a new tactic on the A100 near Berlin.

A white van cuts off the path of several cars and squeezes into the left lane. Suddenly, the front row turns on the hazard lights. The cars brake abruptly, then the doors open: “last generation” climate activists get out and stab themselves – not on the ground, but on the rims of their rental cars.

With this perfidious strategy, the climate stickers managed to paralyze the three-lane A100 near Berlin on Monday. The action caused red heads among drivers. This is reported by the “image”.

“I have to go through this!”

Motorists also jumped out of their cars in hopes of stopping the demonstrators. Others became violent and tried to drag the stickers off the street – without success. This left some drivers completely confused. A video shows how one of the activists is shouted at: “I have to go through this!”. But nothing there. The first time nothing worked. Traffic jam!

Then the police left. And she acted quickly. Because the activists did not stick the tires to the street, but the tires, the officials removed the affected tires in no time and then loosened the glued hands. Because it wasn’t that easy. The demonstrators had used a mixture of sand and glue that made it much more difficult to remove the glue by hand.

Meanwhile, other “last generation” activists clung to the streets in other parts of Berlin – causing traffic chaos there too.

Climate stickers are not intimidated by the prison

The climate stickers also poured out in Berlin on Tuesday and caused red faces among motorists.

The activists accept jail time for their repeated tape actions, as the example of Carla Hinrich shows. She is a media spokeswoman for the climate group and was sentenced last week to two months probation. The group is not intimidated by this, neither is Hinrichs. After the trial, she immediately clung back to the street.

It is unclear whether such actions will soon take place in Switzerland. A request from Blick to the Swiss climate movement “Renovate Switzerland” went unanswered.
