The unmanned cargo ship “Tianzhou-6” successfully docked at the Chinese space station “Tiangong” (Heaven’s Palace) on Thursday. According to the Chinese space agency, the three astronauts waiting there would unload the cargo. The “Heavenly Ship” had left the day before without any problems from the Wenchang Spaceport on the southern Chinese island of Hainan.
The freighter #Tianzhou-6 completed its state setup and linked to the job #Tiangong space station on Thursday, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) said.

“Tianzhou-6” carries food, including 70 kilograms of fresh fruit, as well as daily necessities, spare parts and 600 kilograms of fuel on board. The first cargo flight after regular commissioning of the space station since the beginning of the year is used to prepare for the upcoming crew change.
Foreign experts expect the launch of “Shenzhou-16” (magic ship) on May 25 with three astronauts. They must replace the three-man crew after six months in space. (sda/dpa)
