Robert F Kennedy Jr. is one of several US presidential candidates seeking to move into the White House in 2024.

US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (69), the cousin of US President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963), the conspiracy theorist gives in an interview. In a Sunday radio interview with moderator John Catsimatidis, the Kennedy scion was convinced that the CIA was involved in the 1963 assassination of US President John F. Kennedy.

“There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in his assassination,” Kennedy said of his uncle’s death. “I think there’s no reasonable doubt about it today.” According to Kennedy, the US Secret Service was not only involved in the assassination, but also in “covering up the traces” of the crime. “The evidence is overwhelming that the CIA was involved in the assassination and cover-up,” he told the New York Post.

JFK, the 35th president of the United States, was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas. Together with his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (1929-1994), he drove through the streets in an open convertible. “Jackie” Kennedy bent over her mortally wounded husband in despair. Soon after, police arrested a former Marine, Marxist Lee Harvey Oswald (1939-1963), on charges of Kennedy’s assassination.

Kennedy assassins silenced?

On November 24, Oswald was led through the basement of the Dallas Police Department into the jail at gunpoint by television cameras. Suddenly – live in front of millions of viewers – nightclub owner Jack Ruby (1911-1967) shot the alleged killer in the abdomen. The alleged JFK killer was dead without ever being able to testify. Many remain convinced that Ruby killed the suspected JFK assassin to prevent him from uncovering a larger conspiracy.

With the Warren Commission’s official investigative report in September 1964, the US government concluded that Oswald had acted alone. There is no credible evidence that he was part of a conspiracy.

Kennedy Jr. also refers with his claims to the book “JFK and the Unspeakable”. Author James Douglas lists most of the evidence on this subject – calling the denial of the CIA’s role a “60-year cover-up”. (kes)
