The shooter was killed by a policeman. There are also seven injured people
At least nine people died, among them a child, and seven more were injured after the shooting that took place in a shopping center in the city Allen, in Texasin the southern United States. The attacker was killed by the police.
According to Allen Police Department Chief Brian Harvey, the attacker was neutralized by the agent who was on duty at the mall. When he heard the shots, the officer “saw” and then “neutralized” the suspect before calling 911, which evacuated several wounded.

A 17-year-old man spoke with The New York Times and stated that he was in his car, having arrived earlier for his shift at one of the stores when he heard “probably more than 20 gunshots” and saw people running out of the store.
After what happened, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued a statement in which he explained that he was in contact with the mayor of the municipality and offered him “the full support of the state”, “necessary help and resources”. ” “Our hearts go out to the people of Allen, Texas tonight during this unspeakable tragedy,” the Republican said.
The United States has experienced at least 198 mass shootings so far this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive, which defines mass shootings as those in which four or more people are killed, not including the perpetrator of the attack.
