Yevgeny Prigozhin blames Russian warfare for failing him.

The boss of the infamous Wagner group Yevgeny Prigoshin (61) has his nerves on edge. In his latest video, he panics, yells at the camera, swears and swears – Russia is getting more and more nervous.

These are terrible images that Prigozhin wants to show the world: dozens of Wagner mercenaries lie dead on the ground, killed on the Bakhmut front. About 20,000 Russian soldiers have died there since last December.

“You’re going to burn in hell!”

The Russian fighters there lack ammunition: Prigozhin has made this clear time and time again by accusing the Kremlin leadership of not providing him with enough support.

But he has never been as clear as in the last video he published: first he shows the corpses and then looks into the camera. He no longer speaks, he shouts: “These are sons, these are fathers! Scum that give us no ammunition – you will burn in hell!”

“Heaps of Corpses Every Day”

He continues to swear, swear and rant – only to directly attack Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu (67) and Russian Force Commander Valery Gerasimov (67): “Shoigu! Gerasimov! Where’s my ammunition?!”

In an interview with a military blogger over the weekend, Prigozhin lamented the losses in Bakhmut: “Every day we have piles of thousands of corpses that we put in the coffin and send home.”

And Wagner’s boss is well aware that the situation with the planned Ukrainian counter-offensive is unlikely to improve. He warned of a “tragedy” for Russia. On Thursday, he wrote on Telegram: “I believe that the offensive of the Ukrainian army has already begun. We see the highest enemy aviation activity, we see the highest activity on the periphery and within our front.” (new)
