It’s the classic prank: the bubble prank. But the innocent ringing and running ended in Bavaria with a complete escalation.
The incident happened early Sunday evening, according to police. It was not the first time that children made fun of the bell on a street in Bavaria’s Tirschenreuth.
Only: this time the situation escalated completely. When a 10-year-old boy rang the doorbell of a 54-year-old, the man went crazy, RTL News writes.
Boy shocked
Police said the man grabbed the boy and punched him in the face. He then “dipped it upside down several times in a rain barrel filled with water”. Only later was the 10-year-old able to free herself from the adult’s strong grip.
According to police, the boy suffered minor injuries and was in shock. The officials confirmed to RTL Nieuws that the suspect is being investigated for assault.
If convicted, the 54-year-old could face up to five years in prison. (lia)
