After that, he was guaranteed to be awake: On May 1, at a quarter past seven in the morning, the principal of “Zela” elementary school in Summersville, West Virginia, wanted to check the garbage can behind the building. What he found inside sent him into a spontaneous morning sprint. đ
A surveillance camera captured the whole scene:
The school had only recently installed a new locking mechanism on the bin, principal James Marsh told local media after the incident. Torn garbage bags were found again and again. In this case, however, the culprit was so big and strong that he just opened and closed the mechanism himself all weekend – just as he wanted.
But he was just as surprised by the rector’s unexpected ‘visit’ as he was himself. “He was screaming pretty loud,” Marsh said. The West Virginia Department of Natural Resources has now reinforced the lock on the barrel. (lzo)
