Kim Jong-un’s sister teases Joe Biden

Kim Jong Un’s sister Kim Yo Jong is no joke.

North Korea responded to increased US military cooperation with South Korea with threats and new insults against US President Joe Biden (80). The influential sister of ruler Kim Jong-un, 39, Kim Yo Jong, 35, has indicated that the nuclear force’s capacity for a first strike needs to be upgraded. “We need to improve our deterrence of nuclear war,” she told state media on Saturday. In particular, the “second task” of deterrence needs to be perfected. The isolated government in North Korea is subject to severe international sanctions because of its nuclear weapons program.

Kim criticized the ‘Washington Declaration’ announced a few days ago during a state visit by South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol (62) to the United States. In it, the United States assured its ally that it would be more closely involved in the planning of its “comprehensive deterrent” and that it would send more strategic weapons systems, including nuclear submarines, to the Korean peninsula. Through extensive deterrence, the US understands the full range of its military capabilities to defend South Korea – including nuclear ones.

President called a “fool”.

Partly in view of escalating tensions with North Korea, Biden had said that a nuclear strike against the US or its partners “would mean the end of any regime that would carry out such an action”.

Kim said this could be taken as “a meaningless statement from a person with senility”. The senior party official accused Washington and Seoul of hostile policies. Yoon called her a “fool.” “The dream of the US and South Korea will come true stronger in the future.”

North Korea had berated Biden several times in the past, calling him a “mad dog”. Biden had described the North Korean ruler as a tyrant. (SDA)
