While some Russian companies suffered losses due to the war in Ukraine, those owned by Putin’s family remain unaffected.

Russia’s economy has been constantly facing new challenges since the outbreak of the war. Many companies place a minus. But the family of Russian President Vladimir Putin (70) feels nothing. The companies of Putin’s daughters made a decent profit last year.

According to information from the telegram channel “Moyem Objasnit”, Putin’s daughters Maria Vorontsova (36) and Katerina Tikhonova (35) have received more than ever since the attack on Ukraine. Vorontsova owns the company Nomeko, which mainly specializes in medical projects. Since Russia attacked Ukraine, her company has had a turnover of 855 million rubles, or almost 9.5 million Swiss francs.

In addition, Nomeko bought all the hospitals where Wagner mercenaries were treated. And they had a lot to do over the past year.

Putin’s daughter works with Gazprom, Rosneft and Rostec

According to the channel, Tikhonova’s company NIR generated 290 million rubles, or 3.2 million francs, last year. That is twice as many as last year. NIR focuses on petroleum, geology, biotechnology and chemical research. NIR also often collaborates with the companies Rosneft, Gazprom and Rostec. Tikhonova is the general director of the company.

Putin’s daughters were placed on the US sanctions list in early April. “We believe that many of Putin’s belongings are hidden with relatives and that is why we are targeting them,” a senior US official told reporters, referring to the two daughters.
