As reported by the Munich fire brigade on Wednesday, a passerby called 911 on Tuesday because of an alleged smell of gas in a supermarket in the mall.
The fire brigade and police therefore intervened and the police officers were ready to help evacuate the supermarket. While firefighters used measuring equipment to determine the gas concentration in the air, the emergency services saw the Asian market next to the supermarket, where the smelly fruit was offered and identified as a possible cause of the alarm. After the measuring equipment did not show an increased gas concentration, the fire service stopped the operation.
