Supporters of IS killed 100 civilians in 2023

In the country of the civil war, truffle hunters are repeatedly victims of violence. Supporters of IS regularly kill and kidnap people who want to make money collecting the valuable delicacy in the impoverished civil war country. The search also leads to remote desert areas, which serve as a haven for extremists and are often mined. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, IS supporters have killed more than 100 civilians in Syria alone this year. (SDA)
