According to South Korean information, North Korea fired a ballistic missile on Thursday morning (local time). The missile was launched in the direction of the Sea of Japan, the South Korean news agency Yonhap reported on Thursday, referring to the South Korean general staff.

A few hours later, the Japanese government gave permission. A North Korean missile will no longer land on or near Japanese territory.
