Avalanche in the Alps, on the Armancette glacier (in eastern France, near the border with Italy) caused this Sunday at least four dead and several injured, confirmed by official sources.
The avalanche happened in the middle of the day, and emergency services are still working on the ground, French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin announced via Twitter.
“At noon, an avalanche occurred on the Armancette glacier in the Alps. The provisional balance is 4 dead and several wounded. Rescue teams continue their work. Thanks for your help. Our thoughts go out to the victims and their families,” said Darmanin.
