After the death of a ten-year-old girl in Germany, the police, after finding traces, assume that an eleven-year-old was involved. Wunsiedel police and the prosecutor’s office announced on Friday that the results of securing evidence point to the involvement of an 11-year-old boy from the Wunsiedel facility.
Since the boy “is not of criminal age, he was preventively placed in a secure facility”. The girl was found dead in her room in child and youth care on Tuesday. The prosecutor assumed murder.
In the course of the investigation, emergency services immediately secured traces from the crime scene and left it to the state’s criminal investigation department for evaluation, it was said. An interrogation of the eleven-year-old was still pending on Friday, according to the police. Further measures would be taken in close cooperation with youth authorities. (sda/dpa)
