The controversial influencer Andrew Tate (36) and his brother Tristan (34) must be placed in custody with immediate effect, a Romanian judge decided. Two Tate employees have also been released.
All four have been ordered to remain in the buildings they are staying in unless they have court approval to leave.
Tate and his accomplices have been charged with rape, human trafficking and other crimes. The prosecutor’s office suspects Tate, among other things, of luring women to his estate in Bucharest with the intention of marrying them. There he allegedly held them “as prisoners” and forced them to create pornographic content with webcams. (Darling)
