Germany’s TikToker Barrelo went live on TikTok yesterday with Swiss soccer star Granit Xhaka. The live stream had up to 40,000 simultaneous viewers and millions of likes.
Barrelo is a 23-year-old influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers across various social media platforms. Occasionally he is accompanied by the well-known German clan leader Arafat Abou-Chaker.
TikTokers can make a lot of money from live streams. Followers send virtual gifts that appear as animations in the live stream.
Xhaka and Barrelo talked about the double-headed eagle sign and the Illuminati, but most of the time was spent encouraging viewers to send gifts.
