According to the United Nations, more than 11,000 children were killed or seriously injured between March 2015 and November 2022. “Eight years of brutal violence and civil war have destroyed the lives of millions of children in Yemen”declared Unesco. The conflict in Yemen and its aftermath are among the worst humanitarian disasters in the world. In the country, troops of exiled Sunni President Abd Rabbo Mansur Hadi have been fighting against Shiite Houthi rebels for years.
