We recently showed you a video about two over-80s driving a self-driving car for the first time. Their reactions were so sweet that the video went viral. The two also offer other heartwarming videos on their TikTok channel. Here’s her story:
Kenny is 81 years old and runs a TikTok channel called “Patriotic Kenny”. He has more than two million followers there. Together with his best friend Jerry, who is deaf, his daughter and his neighbor Amanda, the Marine veteran has become a minor celebrity in the US and has been a guest on various media and talk shows.
Due to a chronic lung disease, Kenny can no longer walk long distances. So he uses a scooter, which has kind of become his trademark. He now also uses his reach to help other veterans and those in need. He continues to collect donations so that they too can have a scooter. (lzo)
