Liverpool: murder of James B.* (†2)
Jon V.* and Robert T.* (then both 10) played truant on February 12, 1993. That same afternoon, James B.* (†2) was with his mother in a shopping center in Liverpool, UK. She was distracted by her purchases at the meat department when the two boys led James away by the hand. This process was recorded by a surveillance camera. The two 10-year-olds assaulted James with stones and hit him several times with a ten-kilogram iron bar. They then placed his lifeless body on a train track. There his body was dismembered by a freight train. The perpetrators were sentenced to eight years in prison. In the UK you are criminally responsible from the age of ten.

Shock action by Degersheim SG
In Switzerland, too, a crime has already been committed in which a minor killed another child: In February 1997, in Degersheim SG, a boy (14) and a helper (13) stabbed a 13-year-old classmate at the shelter. A court convicted the main perpetrator of first-degree murder and placed him in a reform school. His colleague was found guilty of assisting and was placed with a foster family. Elbeu: strangled 14-year-old girl († 7)
In July 1999, Kristin (7) disappeared without a trace from Elbeu, Germany, near Wolmirstedt in Saxony-Anhalt, while cycling. Her body was found a short time later. A 14-year-old had attempted to sexually coerce her. He grabbed Kristin from behind and pulled her towards him. But the girl managed to break free and run away. When she threatened to report the incident, the boy strangled her with a belt. A court later sentenced the 14-year-old to a juvenile sentence of six years and nine months.

Murder of a student in Manchester
Michael H.* (15) lured Joe G.* (11) to his house in March 2006 with a ruse. The two attended the same Catholic school in Manchester, UK. Michael wanted sex. When Joe called him “gay” and threatened to tell others, the 15-year-old panicked: he hit Joe several times on the head with a frying pan. He then stabbed the 11-year-old 16 times with a kitchen knife. He disposed of the body in a trough in a park. Michael H. was later sentenced to life imprisonment.

Sinsheim’s act of jealousy
On February 24, 2021, an incredible bloody act took place in Sinsheim in Baden-Württemberg. The victim: 13-year-old Sinan T.*, who was stabbed by a 14-year-old. The police arrested the perpetrator at the crime scene – he was standing next to Sinan, covered in blood, with a knife in his hand. The motive for the crime was jealousy. There had been an argument over a girl. Therefore, 14-year-old Sinan T. lured into a wooded area and stabbed him seven times in the back and neck. A court sentenced the stabbing to nine years in prison.

Salzgitter: Anastasia case
On June 19, 2022, a then 14-year-old and a classmate (13) suffocated the girl Anastasia († 15) on an overgrown site in Salzgitter in the German state of Lower Saxony. Then he hid her body in a bush. After a missing person was reported by the relatives, police officers discovered the girl’s body. The perpetrator was sentenced to eight years in prison. The accomplice was not yet criminally responsible at the time of the crime and was placed in a psychiatric clinic shortly after the crime.
