Kevin Fiala scores and assists with the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL in a 4-2 home win over the St. Louis Blues, while Nino Niederreiter assists for the Winnipeg Jets, his new team.

Kings Blues 4-2

Kevin Fiala got his scorer points in the last seconds. In the third to last minute he assisted Gabriel Vilardi to make it 3-2 on the power play and moments later he scored the final score in the empty goal. The East Swiss is good for 22 goals and 44 assists this season.

Jets Oilers 7-5

Nino Niederreiter came to its first win with the Winnipeg Jets. In the third game with his new club, he defeated the Edmonton Oilers 7-5. When Winnipeg’s top scorer Mark Scheifele made it 1-1, the Swiss striker had his stick in the game with an assist. Germany’s Leon Draisaitl scored three goals for Edmonton, who defeated the Jets on Friday.

Blackhawks Predators 1-3

While Fiala is in a playoff spot with the Kings and Niederreiter with Winnipeg comes Roman Josi closer to the target ranks with the Nashville Predators. After beating the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1, the Tennessee team is five points behind defending champion Colorado Avalanche, the last playoff spot in the West. Josi in Nashville and Phillip Kurashev with Chicago remained without scorer points. (con/sda)
