Desert Scenes in Rosario, Messi’s Birthplace! Strangers caused a violent act in front of Messi’s father-in-law’s supermarket on Thursday evening.

At 3:20 a.m., two men on a motorbike stopped in front of the “Único” supermarket and fired a total of 14 shots at the store’s metal shutters. Apparently no one was injured. So reports the newspaper “La Nación”.

In addition, the attackers leave a note directly addressed to the world footballer: “Messi, we are waiting for you,” it says. In the threatening letter, the perpetrators also attack the mayor of Rosario, Pablo Javkin. “Javkin is a drug dealer, he will not protect you,” it read.

Several conflicts in recent months

Rosario has been suffering from a wave of violence for some time now. Several drug gangs vie for control of the city northwest of Buenos Aires. Last year, riots killed 288 people. In Rosario, 56 people have already died this year.

It is unclear why Rosario mayor Javkin was also threatened in connection with the supermarket robbery. It may have to do with the fact that the mayor called for a fight against violence some time ago. (SDA)
