Videos circulated on the internet of people in overalls using wheelbarrows to spill yellow and blue paint that others were spreading with brooms. The paint was then spread over a wide area by passing cars.
Three men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of damaging property and disrupting traffic, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The group Led By Donkeys was apparently behind the move ahead of the first anniversary of Russia’s offensive war against Ukraine on Feb. 24. She posted photos of the action on Twitter and wrote that the flag outside the Russian embassy should remind Russian President Vladimir Putin on the anniversary of the invasion that Ukraine is “an independent country and a people with every right to self-determination”.
Led by Donkeys (in English: “Led by donkeys”) is a group of activists who repeatedly criticize the policies of the Conservative British government with sensational actions.
