On Monday, US President Joe Biden (80) visited his counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskiy (45) in Kiev. At the same time, according to CNN, an ICBM was tested in Russia, but the Russians failed.

The test was one Sarmat missile (RS-28). The missile, dubbed Satan II by NATO, has, according to the website army recognition a range of 18,000 kilometers – enough to reach any destination in the world. She is capable of firing nuclear warheads. In April 2022, Satan II was already successfully tested.

The result was the RS-28 Vladimir Putin (70) hailed as “technologically superior”. He warned about that at the time the satan II “give a break to those who try to threaten Russia”.

Putin remained silent about the missile test

As CNN reports, the United States was briefed on the missile test. An official tells the broadcaster that the test posed no threat to the United States. American specialists doubt technological superiority the satan II resembles its predecessors.

However, unlike in April, the Russians failed the missile test this time. The Russian president did not mention the test at all in his speech on Monday – an indication, according to the US, that the missile is not operational.

Series of failed tests

Monday’s missile test is not First, which failed. As early as November, the Russians tested Putin’s miracle weapon, a Poseidon nuclear torpedo, without success.

North American air raid personnel are closely monitoring the situation. “We remain prepared to deploy a variety of response options in defense of the sovereignty of North America and the Arctic,” they tell CNN. The missile test is not a provocation.
