Video Appears to Show New Russian Tactics in Ukraine War Defusing WWII Bomb in Britain Goes Wrong

A video shows that the Russians are using a new tactic in the war against Ukraine.

Surveillance video from Friday, Feb. 10, shows a suspected Russian vehicle exploding under the Sakota Bridge near the Ukrainian city of Odessa. The bridge has long been a target of the Russian military.

According to several analysts, the vehicle could be a drone loaded with explosives or an unmanned boat. While Ukraine has already resorted to such methods in the Black Sea, this video may be Russia’s first reported use of these weapons.

Yevgeny Poddubny, Russian war correspondent and propagandist, commented on the video: “Almost a year after the start of the military special operation, we started using unmanned naval drones.”

Sakota Bridge as a prime target

Russia has tried to destroy the bridge from the air in the past. It is important because it was used in delivering supplies to Ukrainian troops stationed in the south via Moldova. The video shows smoke rising from the bridge after the explosion. The actual extent of the damage is unclear and cannot be independently clarified. (lzo)
