The Iranian army has released images of an underground air base.
Fighter jets, bombers or drones should be able to launch surprise attacks and long-range operations from the base, the state news agency IRNA reported Tuesday. The report did not specify the exact location of the base, only stating that the base was in the mountains. Several such systems are planned.

In Iran, there are always reports of new military achievements. In recent years, state television has reported, among other things, about an underground drone base or missile depot of the Revolutionary Guards. Most military installations are kept secret and information about them cannot be independently verified.
