But was Harry really at school? Photos show that the day before the 101-year-old died, he was on a skiing holiday in Klosters, Switzerland, with his brother Prince William and their father, now King Charles III.
Hours after the announcement, a spokesperson for Charles issued a press release about his grandmother’s passing: “[Charles] has been destroyed. His only wish is to go home as soon as possible.” According to reports from the time, he flew back to England with his sons a day later.
