Plane with 72 occupants crashes in Nepal and bursts into flames from California again hit by storm and flooding

According to a media report, a passenger plane has crashed in the Nepalese city of Pokhara.

There were 68 passengers and four crew members on board the Yeti Airlines plane, the Kathmandu Post newspaper reported, citing a spokesman for the airline. The plane crashed on Sunday morning en route from the capital Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Videos and photos posted on social media showed plumes of smoke at the alleged crash site. Further details, such as possible casualties or the cause of the crash, were not initially known.
