These are the most attractive passports in the world

The Japanese currently have the most valuable passports in the world: they can use them to travel without a visa to 193 countries around the world or get their visa on arrival. With the Swiss passport you can travel to 186 countries without a visa.

Japanese citizens can now visit 193 of the 227 travel destinations visa-free. Residents of South Korea and Singapore, tied for second, can enjoy 192 visa-free destinations, according to this year’s research by London-based law firm Henley & Partners. For this purpose, data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), among others, are evaluated.

Switzerland is 7th, Russia is 48th

Germany and Spain share third place, with visa-free access to 190 destinations worldwide. The United Kingdom and France remain in sixth place with 187. Just like last year, Switzerland, the United States, Norway and Belgium follow in seventh place. Canada ranks 8th. Liechtenstein ranks 15th with 178 visa-free countries.

Russia ranks 48th with 118 visa-free destinations. There is no information about Ukraine. Still at the bottom of 109th place is Afghanistan in the Henley Passport Index. Afghans can only travel to 27 destinations without a visa. (SDA)
